HOW DOES A TANKLESS WATER HEATER WORK?

A Tankless Water Heater provides endless hot water on demand when sized appropriately for your home's needs. Heating water only as it’s being used means you will never run out of hot water again. After the few seconds it takes for the water to reach the designated set temperature, the tankless water heater will continually provide a steady flow of hot water for as long as your application needs it. This process entails seven steps as follows:

  1. You open the hot water tap.
  2. The water flow begins and an internal water flow sensor detects it.
  3. Upon detection of the water flow, the sensor sends a signal to the computer board to activate the burner.
  4. Upon activation, the burner is ignited.
  5. When the water flows through the heat exchanger, it absorbs heat from the burner.
  6. When the water exits the heater, it already reached the temperature set by the user.
  7. Upon closing the hot water tap, the water heater automatically switches off.
